For the seventh year in a row, Encova Insurance’s internship program has been listed as a RISE Elite 50 Internship. This year, Encova was also named Most Supportive Learning Environment.
In 2026, Encova hosted 22 interns from 17 colleges and universities, working across 10 different business areas, from Information Technology to Underwriting. As full members of dynamic, results-driven teams, interns gain hands-on experience managing real-world situations while exploring possible career paths in the insurance industry.
“Our goal is to give interns meaningful work, strong connections and a clear view of the opportunities available in insurance,” Mark Peacock, senior vice president and chief Human Resources officer, said. “Being recognized for the seventh consecutive year affirms the value of that experience, and we are extremely proud of this accomplishment.”
“Something that has made me a lot more confident in my abilities is just the exposure that this internship has given me to the industry," Toree Switzer, Actuarial intern, said. "I’ve been thrown into a lot of different places in the business and it’s just really helped me be more confident in my work and also just for my future.”
“We’re grateful to our 2026 interns for the energy, ideas and talent they brought to Encova,” Peacock said. “We hope the experience and connections they built here continue to serve them as they return to school and begin their careers.”
