Tom Barr has been promoted to regional vice president, Commercial Lines, effective Aug. 23.
In this role, Barr oversees Encova’s Commercial Lines Small Business Midwest region, serving agents across Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska and Wisconsin. He leads our underwriting and service teams to support consistent decision making, strong partnerships and responsive service. His focus is to maintain underwriting discipline while supporting profitable growth and long term relationships across the region.

Tom has been with Encova Insurance for more than 12 years, holding several commercial lines underwriting positions including assistant vice president of small business underwriting.
