Commercial lines submission flow changes and service team updates

As of Sept. 1, our commercial lines package and workers’ compensation lines have been integrated as a single Commercial Lines profit center. This provides you with easy, streamlined points of contact and better aligns with how you do business.

Submission flow
The submission flow has changed with this integration and updated submission guidelines for commercial lines are now available. Commercial lines package and workers’ compensation submissions with premium $35,000 or less must be sent through Encova Edge. Submissions with premium $35,001 or more can be sent through Encova Edge, to policyintake@encova.com or to your underwriter. Please discontinue your use of the smallbusiness@encova.com and midmarket@encova.com email addresses. Personal lines submissions should still be sent through Encova Edge.

Service teams
We also updated many of our service teams to better serve you, and some underwriters and agency managers have changed. This may include your contacts for both personal lines and commercial lines. Log in to Encova Edge and click MY TEAM to see your dedicated Encova contacts.

You will now only interact with one Small Business team and one Large Accounts team for commercial lines. Each region has a designated regional vice president for both teams. Separately, we have a dedicated Energy team providing monoline workers’ compensation coverage for the mining, oil and gas industries.
