Encova associates make an impact

For the last two weeks, Encova associates have participated in our annual Encova Impact campaign. This year, our campaign theme was “You Give Hope.” Every year, we offer associates the opportunity to financially support their local community through the Encova Impact campaign. But not only are they giving financial support, they are giving hope to children, families, neighbors, coworkers and even complete strangers.

Hope has no boundaries and exists across communities. It is a feeling of positive expectations that can change and save lives. Hope has no price tag; any support sends invaluable optimism to those who need it most.

We partnered with United Way again this year to offer associates an easy way to financially support a nonprofit of their choice and to participate in the United Way Day of Caring. We had 23 associates participate in the United Way Day of Caring in Charleston, West Virginia. With such a large group, Encova associates were sent to two different project sites. Half of our group worked at the Kanawha Valley Fellowship Home, power washing, cleaning, painting and doing some light landscaping for the facility. The other group worked at the YMCA of Kanawha Valley, painting, cleaning, mulching and weeding, focusing on the youth development areas of the building.
