Reminder: Cyber Liability Coverage and Services effective May 1, 2016

Cyber Liability Coverage and Services will be available beginning May 1, 2016. The $5,000 in Security Breach coverage currently included will automatically be enhanced at renewal with a $25,000 limit Cyber Liability coverage and quoted on all new business for eligible Businessowners, Garage Liability and General Liability policyholders.

This coverage will replace Security Breach Coverage for all eligible Motorists Mutual policyholders as well as eligible Wilson Mutual policyholders in Wisconsin and Phenix Mutual policyholders in Rhode Island and South Carolina.

Michigan agents will have to request Cyber Liability be added since we cannot automatically add the coverage.

Policyholders who do not want the coverage will need to contact their agent to opt out. If they choose to opt out, they will continue to receive Security Breach coverage.

Please note that Security Breach coverage is not available for new business; Cyber Liability is the only coverage option available for new business.

We encourage you to review the resources below to prepare for the launch of Cyber Liability next month.

If you have questions about this new coverage option, please contact your district sales manager or commercial lines underwriter.
