West Virginia Standard Team expanding responsibilities

As a result of the successful launch of our new small business workers’ compensation product, we are pleased to announce the creation of a second business team focused on this market segment. This will ensure we continue to exceed your service expectations.

Led by Todd Becker, the West Virginia Standard Team currently manages workers’ compensation business with premium less than $60,000 for agents in West Virginia. Moving forward, this team will be referred to as Standard Accounts South, and their responsibilities will expand to also include workers’ compensation policies with less than $50,000 in annual premium for agents in the following states: Alabama, Georgia, Maryland, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee and Virginia, as well as the District of Columbia.

Earlier this year we announced the creation of the first small account business team outside of West Virginia, Regional Standard Accounts. With the creation of Standard Accounts South, the former Regional Standard Accounts team will be renamed Standard Accounts North. Under the leadership of Hope Fallen, they will continue to be responsible for workers’ compensation policies with less than $50,000 in annual premium for agents in Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, New Hampshire, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin.

Agencies in Ohio will be split between Standard Accounts North and Standard Accounts South. Agencies previously working with the West Virginia Standard Team will be handled by Standard Accounts South for both new business and renewals. All other agencies in Ohio will be handled by Standard Accounts North for both new business and renewals. Refer to this map to view each team’s territory.
