Agent/broker of record updates

Encova will continue to honor one properly completed agent/broker of record change request in a policy term for workers’ compensation or commercial lines policies. Please make note of the below updates to the process that became effective June 1, 2021.

  • The 10-business-day blackout period that occurred prior to every new business and renewal policy was eliminated.
  • The effective date of the change is now retroactive to the date the agent of record (AOR) request was received.
  • The 10-business-day waiting period notice to incumbent agents now includes verbiage to waive the waiting period by simply replying to the email with their directive to release the account.
