Special events insurance
Special events insurance provides protection to the event holder for bodily injury and third-party property damage. Venue owners or sponsors can be added as additional insureds. Some venues require certificates of insurance for the event to be held there.
When working with MCM Agency, we can provide coverage for both public and private events such as: festivals, parades, craft shows, wedding ceremonies and wedding receptions, birthday and anniversary parties, bar/bat mitzvahs, memorial services, business dinners/meetings, and nonprofit functions.
Typically inexpensive with fast turnaround, pricing is based on the type of event, location, receipts and anticipated attendance, with premiums as low as a few hundred dollars.
Host liquor is typically covered. Additional liquor liability options are available if the event holder sells or profits from the alcohol sales.
