Value-added Risk Management services land large commercial account

Sometimes, the insurance coverage isn't the only thing that sells a policy. To ensure the ongoing success and satisfaction of our commercial clients, we provide Risk Management services to our policyholders to help them avoid claims and keep their business running smoothly.

Recently, The Motorists Insurance Group affiliate Iowa Mutual was successful in writing a large commercial contractor in Omaha, Nebraska. Obtaining this account was the result of a close working relationship developed between the client's agent, district sales manager (DSM) and Risk Management. Working together, the team shared vital information in a timely manner to deliver a competitive quote while showcasing risk management services available to the client. In this case, the account was specifically interested in our loss control services as well as our newly launched Summit Training video service - a service we offer free of charge to our commercial clients. Based on the agent's request, this information was quickly secured and shared with the client.

Large accounts can present challenges in getting needed information in a timely fashion. There must be efficient communication and discussions between the agent, client and our staff.
