BRINGING HEART HEALTH AWARENESS TO OUR COMMUNITIES

February is American Heart Month, and even though most of our associate workforce is remote, we continued to spread the red this month. On Friday, Feb. 5, our associates and their families participated in National Wear Red Day, and the Encova Building in Columbus went red for the occasion. In addition, we supported the American Heart Association’s Go Red for Women Luncheon fundraiser and shared heart health tips on our social media pages.

On Feb. 18, the Go Red for Women Luncheon went virtual for their 2021 fundraiser. As sponsors of the virtual event, all of our associates were invited to attend the program, gaining education about heart health and the opportunity to financially support the American Heart Association. You can view many of the American Heart Association’s resources and tools on their website, as well as make your own donation!

Throughout the month of February, we shared weekly heart health tips with our social media followers. These tips included stretching regularly, cutting back on salt, getting out for a walk and laughing often. You can check them out on our Facebook and LinkedIn pages, and you’re welcome to share with your own followers to continue spreading heart health awareness!

We hope you’ll join us for next year’s American Heart Month by spreading the red!
